“Sense the sky from a drop of water. Sense the mountain from a piece of stone. Trace the roots of everything around us.”
A brick is a ubiquitous object of human utility. Its perceived value is relative to its location as part of a building it is eminently useful but when that building is demolished it is reduced to the status of waste material.
This brick has, over the years, undergone this very transition. I have deconstructed this brick into small blocks to remind us that even within.
