The sculpting process reproduces the human course. 
We tend to observe only one dimension at a time, then it should be possible to inverse
our perception and displace our observation to the shadow, the rejected material involved or
the negative face of the object, the essential non existing area that enables the object to exist.  
It is like the 2 sides of a coin or even 2 sides of human's heart.
This is standing on the rest of stones which would normally be eliminated.
