With the passing of time all things inevitably undergo a process of transformation. With this transformation an object acquires new meaning and value, yet essentially it is still a manifestation of the same material, albeit with an altered form.
From a piece of wood I have carved the shape of both a full tube of toothpaste and an empty one. I have then combined the waste material with epoxy resin and used it to represent the toothpaste when it is expelled from the tube.
With this peace I am addressing the universality of change by presenting a narrative of physical transformation from unused to used.
