Those carved sculptures by wood material, though it's are the mask of budder or god or any form, those are made by one process of creation that maker carved this from the mass of wood. Then, after a while of carving and at the same time making rubble from this shape, the sculpture has been made up. In the end, the sculpture is coming up and rubble also came up. We actually don't see rubble at an exhibition of course but this rest of the material is somewhere and becomes something in philosophical meaning and ecological meaning. In my point of view, I like to express as if I could collect all rubble from this sculpture of this Japanese sculpture, and make almost the same form of sculpture as same as the original one. As it would have meant [ Rubble from original sculpture became new sculpture as our history continue and take it over to the next generation. ]
