I created this piece under the sponsorship of the J-Wave Radio art project “traveliving”. While staying at Lillydale farm in Australia’s Gold Coast hinterland I decided to create a work that traversed the concept of micro and macro. I recreated the surrounding environment on a micro-scale using a leaf and various found objects. On this leaf, I left my mark in the form of a fingerprint. On the macro scale, I replicated this mark by mowing the grass in a similar pattern to that of my fingerprint. In this way, I explored how our perspective is relative to where we stand and how we feel. (Special thanks to Art Project “Traveliving” of Tourism Australia and J-WAVE radio)
