Artists are generally expected to produce objects of aesthetics or beauty.
But what is beauty in reality? How do we define beauty?
Is it novelty, attractiveness, seduction or perfection?
I sometimes have emotion and feel attracted to things that are old, broken or unfinished in a way…
What could then define the process of art, of artistic creation?
Here are two sides of a matter the first one is a polished disc of glass, reflecting light
without interference, a fixed act of creation, a sort of perfection.
The second piece represents the ultimate end of it (as a possible result of destructive forces)
and could be seen as beauty.
