The apple tree guarded our little house on the hill and having given fruit to the generations before us she eventually exhausted herself and her branches became brittle and her stump began to hollow at the base. I’m grateful for what she once bore, fruit and protection, but, I must allow her to move on. I rejoice in this natural cycle letting go of the known and embracing the unknown giving space to the marvelous. - Maya Kvetny
